〈Stuck with U〉這首歌是不是既甜蜜又洗腦呢？在歌詞中，我們反覆看到 stuck 這個字，也看到 stick around 這個片語。你知道 stuck 可以怎麼用嗎？又認識幾個與 stick 有關的片語呢？今天就跟著希平方一起來探索一下吧！
stuck 的意思及用法
首先，stuck 有形容詞「被卡住的、動不了的、擺脫不了的」的意思。要表示被窗戶卡住、被塞在路上、被問題困住...等等，都可以用上這個詞喔。例如：
The thief got stuck when he tried to get in through the window.（小偷試著爬窗進去時被卡住了。）
We’d better hit the road now, or we might get stuck in traffic.（我們最好現在就出發，不然可能會被塞在路上。）
Can anybody help me? I have been stuck on this math question for an hour!（有人能幫我嗎？我已經被這道數學題卡一小時了！）
而這首〈Stuck with U〉是一首防疫歌曲，歌詞中反覆唱到的 I’m stuck with you. 其實字面意思是「我和你一起被困在家中」，不過因為這是一首浪漫情歌，因此歌詞就潤飾翻成「我要賴著你」囉！
stick 的常見片語
stick around
根據字典，stick around 指的是 to stay somewhere and wait for someone or for something to happen（待在某處等待某人或某事發生），也就是「逗留、停留」的意思囉！例如：
You guys go ahead. I’ll just stick around here a bit longer.（你們去吧。我就在這裡多待一下就好。）
而歌詞中提到 I am not one to stick around，字面意思是「我不會是那種會一直在某處等某人的那型」，套用在這首歌的情境，就是「我不是那種會死纏爛打的人」囉！
stick with someone / something
首先，stick with someone 有「緊跟某人」的意思，英英字典給出的定義則是 to stay close to someone and go with them wherever they go, especially so that they can help or protect you（緊跟某人、不管他們去哪兒都跟著，尤其是為了讓他們能幫助或保護你）。例如：
Stick with me. I won’t let anything happen to you.（跟緊我。我不會讓你有事的。）
另外，stick with something 則是「堅持、繼續做某事」，字典定義是 to continue to do or use something, and not change it（繼續做某事或用某物而不更改）。例如：
I don’t think it’s a good idea to stick with the original plan. It’s not gonna work!（我不認為繼續原計畫是個好主意。行不通啊！）
Stick with it and things will turn around soon.（堅持下去，很快就會有轉機了。）
而如果是 something sticks with someone，意思則是「某事物持續讓你記著」。例如：
Even years after high school, those words still stuck with me.（即使是在高中畢業多年之後，那些話還是讓我難以忘懷。）
stick in someone's mind / head
除了剛才提到的 something sticks with someone，也可以用 stick in someone’s mind / head 來表示「某事物讓你記很久、銘記在腦海」喔。例如：
The melody of this song is so beautiful that it stuck in my head all morning.（這首歌的旋律太美了，以致於我整個早上腦中都是這旋律。）
stick up for someone / something
意思是「去支持捍衛某人事物」，例如：
You need to learn to stick up for yourself.（你需要學會為自己出頭。）
He didn't say a word when I needed someone to stick up for me the most.（他在我最需要有人為我挺身而出時一句話也沒說。）
stick to someone like glue
字面意思是「像膠水一樣黏著某人」，其實就是要表示「很黏某人」喔。例如：
My brother stuck to my mom like glue when he was a baby; he wouldn't let anyone else hold him.（我弟還是小嬰兒的時候超黏我媽；都不讓別人抱他的。）
