對於 Intel 而言，縱使 10nm 的 Ice Lake 已經讓不少消費者感受 Intel 筆電平台的性能提升，不過搭載新世代 Xe GPU 的 Tiger Lake 才是 Intel 真正的殺手鐧產品，畢竟 Xe GPU 也將成 Intel 重返獨立 GPU 的轉捩點；隨著 Tiger Lake 將在 2020 年內發表， Intel 的效能策略長 Ryan Shrout 在個人推特親自以搭載 Tiger Lake 的輕薄型筆電執行戰地風雲 5 ，並強調 Xe GPU 是首款能夠如此流暢執行戰地風雲 5 的整合型 GPU 。

雖然單就性能來說， Tiger Lake 的 Xe GPU 可能在跑分表現與 AMD 的 Ryan 4000 APU 互有高低，不過畢竟 Ryzen 4000 APU 搭載的 GPU 架構仍是上一世代的 Vega ，但 DG1 可支援新一代的 VRS 可變速率著色技術，在支援此技術的遊戲內容能減少不必要的運算，藉此提升遊戲的流暢性
