Computex 2019 :三大 77 架構帶來效能、 AI 性能提升, Arm 宣示 Cortex-A77 、 Mali-G77 與新一代 Arm ML 加速器年底商用化

Arm 在今年 Computex 將主題圍繞在 5G 與 AI 之上,同時發表全新的 IP 組合,三款 IP 產品皆冠上 77 ,分別為 CPU 的 Cortex-A77 , GPU 的 Mali-G77 ,以及日前已經發表的 DPU 的 Mali-D77 。

採用新一代 77 系列架構組合的處理器與平台預計在今年底亮相,同時在架構建議也加入新一代高性能 Arm-ML 機器學習加速器,藉此提升異構處理 AI 的性能。

作為基於 ARMv8 64 位元指令集的新一代高效能微架構, Arm 強調 Cortex-A77 可在同為 7nm 的 3GHz 時脈較現行的 Cortex-A76 性能再提升 20% ,同時藉由架構的調整,相較前一世代架構,在 AI 的性能提升 35 倍,整體運算性能可媲美主流級筆記型電腦。

採用新架構 Valhall 的 Mali-G77

Mali-G77 是採用全新 Valhall 架構的高性能 GPU IP ,相較 Mali-G76 整體性能提升 40% ,且重新規畫的引擎,紋理管線和記憶體快取結構,使功耗效能比提升 30% 、晶圓密度性能亦提升 30% ,同時 Mali-G77 也是針對機器學習再度強化的架構,對比 Mali-G76 提升 60% 性能,有助於體驗與強化遊戲效果。

除此之外,與先前發表的 Mali-D77 搭配下,藉由 Mali-D77 可針對 AR 、 VR 體驗最佳化,並支援 3K 120P 的顯示輸出,具備非同步顯示輸出,以及鏡頭失真校正與色差校正設計。
