第十三屆 Arm 設計大賽成果出爐,三強不約而同藉姿勢偵測展現復健、手語辨識與人機協作

今年的第十三屆 Arm 設計大賽在 Arm Symposia 公布競賽成果,由逢甲大學閃亮亮手手團隊以穿戴裝置結合姿勢感測的協同控制奪下冠軍,另由台大我們超厲害的 iHand 手語辨識系統拿下亞軍,季軍則由台灣科技大學 Best BubbleTea 的多節點手部復健系統拿下。

無獨有偶的,今年三組進入最終決賽的隊伍,皆以資料偵測作為基礎展示不同的應用,不過使用的原因與方式則不盡相同。

季軍的台灣科技大學 Best BubbleTea 的多節點手部復健系統透過四個裝置在手臂與手腕上的感測器偵測姿態,並藉由此次參賽指定的 STM32F469 Discovery 開發板負責資訊彙整與動作推測,彼此之間基於藍牙 4.0 低功耗,並以圖像化界面引導使用者進行復健運動,搭配心律測量模組監測使用者能否負荷當前的復健強度。

亞軍的台灣大學我們超厲害則是希望能實現手語轉為中文的辨識平台,原本的計畫是打算採用影像辨識,不過由於影像辨識需要更龐大的運算性能,最終考量 STM32F469 Discovery 性能,改以配戴在手上的手套型運動感測器偵測動作資訊,並,紀錄手指路徑與變化逐一將手勢動作轉化為字詞。

冠軍逢甲大學閃亮亮手手則是從電影鋼鐵擂台獲得啟發,開發一套結合穿戴式動作偵測的遠端人機協同控制系統,可將配戴於全身的動作感測器資訊透過無線訊號統合並進行遠端遙控,使機器人模擬操作者的動作,具備高度的多自由度,同時較傳統的全身動作感測具小體積、輕盈且低成本、高精度的優點,並可應用在各類的全身動作感測相關應用如手勢搖控、動作捕捉等領域。

相較早期 Arm 設計大賽多為研究室研究成果移植,近期作品更具學生的巧思以及與產業趨勢的結合,也引起不少廠商在成果發表後與學生團隊詢問,今年獲獎的三個團隊也都吸引不少有興趣的廠商洽談,也意味著這些作品具備商轉的可能性與價值,也樂見未來 Arm 設計競賽的學生作品能越來越精彩。
